Meeting on the Strategy for Enhancing Academic Publishing and Digital Archiving at the University of Zakho

A strategic meeting dedicated to enhancing academic publishing and digital archiving at the University of Zakho was convened on Sunday, 7 January 2025, under the supervision of Dr. Diyar Abdulkarim Saeed, President of the University of Zakho.

1. Development of University Scientific Journals

 

The participants reviewed recent accomplishments and ongoing efforts to enhance the quality of the university’s scientific journals. The discussion emphasized the importance of elevating academic standards, enriching journal content, and updating the official journal website to improve visibility, accessibility, and alignment with international indexing requirements.

 

 

2. Strengthening International Research Collaboration

 

Strategies were proposed to expand cooperation with international researchers and academic institutions. This initiative aims to encourage the submission of high-quality research to the university’s journals and to foster stronger global academic partnerships.

 

 

3. Establishing Sustainable Research Revenue

4. Digital Archiving and Activation of the Staff Portal
